Band Camp Concept:

Instructors form bands among EMA students of similar age and skill levels, practice each week for 90 minutes per week, and then perform at a public concert at a popular music venue attended by friends, family, fans and the general public

Bands suggest and vote on the songs to be performed as well as deciding on the band name. Instructors assist students in learning the songs, how to use the proper gear, coach all aspects of performing live including basic vocal techniques, how to get the proper instrument sound and stage presence. Instructors may play as a member of the band if required to fill in, but ideally the band will be made up entirely of students.


It's a great way to get that initial (or additional) experience with a band that everyone needs to get things rolling towards being a confident performing musician.
